Samsung’s mobile devices are in a league of their own. When the Galaxy range launched in the UK, Samsung wanted to ensure that the communications reflected the quality of the products.
I worked with Samsung’s UK creative agency on a number of projects, including promotional films for in-store FSD use, a website for a competition and several other national projects.
As well as the design and build of the website and email newsletters, I spent time developing the copy and overall tone of communication.
The films were three 30-second shorts to be played throughout the UK launch of three different handset devices. These films played on integrated display units in mobile shop displays and as the main part of the Samsung concession at Selfridges, London. Production time was of the essence, with only one week to turn around three finished films, using assets from the Taiwanese creative agency who produced the 3D renders.
